We want to acknowledge the sadness, fear, and anger so many of us are feeling right now.
We also want our readership to know that we stand with those who are protesting, in whatever form that takes, to fight against police violence, helping to mobilize to combat systemic racism and sign petitions to change the laws impacting criminal justice.
We stand in solidarity with the Black community, and demand justice for the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and all other Black and Brown individuals who have died at the hands of the police.
We strongly condemn these acts of racism and injustice that are the foundations of this country and that still continue today.
As a place of healing, we recognize that anti-racism healing cannot happen without action.
