Jupiter in Pisces: A Summer of Love
May 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT
Join Torrence Tremayne and Juliana McCarthy for this astrology class on Jupiter’s ingress into Pisces, which begins on May 13, 2021. We are ready to experience a summer of love, spirituality, warmth, embrace, and peace. This transit will shower us with healing, compassion, and forgiveness, as many of us step out of the restrictions of covid and begin to embrace each other again. Collective healing and spiritual growth could arise as major themes, as we come together to feel all that we feel and process the traumas of the past year.
On the shadow side, we may still experience the spread of disease in parts of the world, as this transit exaggerates our lack of boundaries. WIth Jupiter’s magnifying lens on Pisces, we may also see a renaissance of art, music, and film, and the enjoyment of shared artistic expressions.
Torrence and Juliana will also look at Jupiter in each of the houses to see how this transit will affect us more personally. Where will you experience this swelling of optimism, ease, and grace? Hope to see you there!
For more than twenty years, Juliana McCarthy has been studying and practicing Western Astrology, finding it to be a powerful tool for self-exploration and examining how we relate to others. She loves working with people to help them understand their authentic selves—their complexities, gifts, karma, and life paths. In particular, she finds Astrology to be helpful for major transitions, unexpected life changes, and for better understanding relationships—romantic and otherwise.
Juliana also practices Energy Healing, using a blend of Reiki and shamanic methods. She helps facilitate powerful breakthroughs by clearing blockages around physical, spiritual, relationship, and emotional difficulties. A longtime student of Tibetan Buddhism, she’s an avid meditator and spiritual practitioner.
Torrence Tremayne is an astrologer, writer and intuitive, currently residing in New York City.
His practice is named Magna Arcana, which is wrought from Medieval Latin and roughly translates as the great secrets or mysteries. His archetypal and imaginal approach to astrology is informed by nearly a decade of self-directed study, an undergraduate degree in art history, as well as his enduring interests in the arts, mythology, symbolism, depth psychology, comparative religion and perennial philosophy.
As a counseling astrologer, Torrence facilitates his client’s engagement with their own personal mythos and quest to embody soul. He prompts his clients toward self-inquiry and experimentation, rather than prescriptive fatalism. Torrence maintains the perspective that by deepening into the dynamic paradox of our own being, we may come to experience our essential interbeing. The fundament of reality, which the ancients called anima mundi, the soul of the world. Torrence engages astrology as both a lens to perceive this poetic ecology of being and as a language to express it.
