The Great Conjunction: Beginning the Age of Aquarius

December 15, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Virtual Event
The Great Conjunction

On December 21, 2020, Saturn and Jupiter will conjoin at 0º Aquarius, known as the Great Conjunction, marking a powerful moment in this year’s paradigm shift according to the stars. We are now wrapping up a period of great confrontation and destruction, while pivoting our focus onto building a new, more egalitarian age. Moving forward, we hold the potential for creating enlightened society, healing the Earth, and making sure everyone has their basic needs met.

This day is also the Winter Solstice, which marks a returning of the light. In an otherwise challenging year of upheaval and loneliness, hope is beginning to stream through.

Join astrologers Juliana McCarthy and Torrence Tremayne for this astrology class, and learn all about the Great Conjunction and what it means for humanity.

Juliana McCarthy

For more than twenty years, Juliana McCarthy has been studying and practicing Western Astrology, finding it to be a powerful tool for self-exploration and examining how we relate to others. She loves working with people to help them understand their authentic selves—their complexities, gifts, karma, and life paths. In particular, she finds Astrology to be helpful for major transitions, unexpected life changes, and for better understanding relationships—romantic and otherwise.

Juliana also practices Energy Healing, using a blend of Reiki and shamanic methods. She helps facilitate powerful breakthroughs by clearing blockages around physical, spiritual, relationship, and emotional difficulties. A longtime student of Tibetan Buddhism, she’s an avid meditator and spiritual practitioner.

Torrence Tremayne

My name is Torrence Tremayne. I am a practicing astrologer and writer, based in New York City. My approach to astrology is informed by over a decade of self study, my formal education in art history, as well as my rhythmic engagement with diverse fields of interest, such as psychology, comparative religion, and mythology. Investigative by nature, I find great joy in elucidating our entanglement with the cosmos, weaving webs of relation and intrigue via the written and spoken word. I seek satisfaction in the liminal, the seductive, yet vexing interval of creative potential that dances between light and shadow. I look forward to meeting you there.
