Tulipe Fièvre’s Introduction to Natural Perfume

Tulipe Fièvre was born of a friendship between two women with deep roots in fine arts, fashion & beauty, with a genuine passion for a sustainable life in sync with nature. We are natural perfumers, what we put on our body is just as important as what we put in it. Selecting what we eat is an intimate act and the origin and natural freshness of our food are integral parts of its aroma and taste.

Our fragrances follow the same principles. Tulipe Fièvre scents are composed of the most precious essential oils. They are expressions of nature’s most ethereal, olfactory beauty! Their aromatherapy properties resonate deeply within our bodies. Humans are natural beings, neither manufactured nor synthetic. These fragrances are a sublime and authentic expression of our natural world.

The Magic of Natural Perfume

Natural perfumery derives mainly from essential oils and absolutes. The fragrance industry rarely practices this process due to high cost and limited availability of consistent raw material. As the creators of Tulipe Fièvre we are passionate about using 100% organic and natural materials. Being truthful to this commitment requires a more exacting, laborious creation process and increased material costs. It’s a small price to pay when creating fragrances that are real and unexpected and unmistakably from the natural world. Sharing our beautiful perfumes with you is a feeling like no other – akin to the sincerest expression of joy and optimism.

Growth and Fragrance

Natural rhythms of growth produce slight variation, and this lack of exact consistency can be really problematic for industrialized, commercial perfumers. We recognize this variance as a beautiful thing and a strength! Following a recipe to the T and using all required ingredients will no doubt produce a fine meal, but being open to change will reward you with a richer and more nuanced experience. Tulipe Fièvre is able to adapt to fluctuations in natural supplies and becomes one with these infinite natural variances. The Tulipe’s symbolism is deep love and rebirth and as a French saying goes ‘La Fièvre – une alliée pour guérir et grandir’ an ally to well-being and growth.

There is a gradual learning curve for wearing a natural fragrance. They don’t have the staying power of traditional perfume. The molecules in natural perfume are absorbed and dissipate sooner than synthetic chemicals when exposed to oxygen. Natural fragrances are designed to be applied as often as you like; being chemical-free and having functional benefits, it’s actually beneficial to do so. With natural perfume, there is also a built-in intimacy that manifests as the perfume merges with your skin’s chemistry to express the endless natural variances found in nature. This collaboration between your skin and the perfume allows a more personal end scent. You’re wearing it, ‘it’s’ not wearing you and affecting everyone around you. It will never announce your presence in an overpowering way. Just remember, this is your body’s own personal creation with an endless configuration of experiences.
