Functional Mushrooms for Winter Wellness and Immunity FREE
January 19 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm EST
The hazy shade of winter has arrived as the cloud’s brush their white tears of snowflakes across the ground. During this chilly season, we are more prone to illness, as we are exposed to colder air, less sunlight and seasonal infection. And right now, more than ever, we need to protect our immune systems from pathogens.
Using functional mushrooms are a first line of defense is a quintessential way to prevent winter illness and keep our immune system’s healthy. Functional mushrooms are loaded with polyphenols, polysaccharides, beta-glucans and adaptogenic properties, which protect and enhance the immune system.
In this class, you will learn about about the science and ethnobotany behind why functional mushrooms are good for the immune system. We will focus on which mushrooms to take and how to take them to support optimal health and wellness beyond this season. We will focus on such mushrooms are Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, Agarikon, Turkey Tail, Maitake, Shiitake and more.
