November 13, 2020 — A Scorpio New Moon arrives on Saturday, at 12:07 am Eastern Time, opening the last eclipse portal of the year. For the next six weeks, our evolution will speed up, our karma ripen more quickly.

This New Moon arrives in the wake of the third and final Jupiter-Pluto conjunction of the year, in addition to Mars stationing direct. Both transits are pushing us forward after a period of frustration and impatience. Mars is the cosmic sword. He’s cutting our ties to old patterns, relationships, and projects that no longer serve us. After a period of thwarted momentum that began on September 9, Mars stationing direct is pivotal. We’re turning our gazes toward the horizon, with clarified desires, intention, and direction.

Mars Direct falls opposite to Venus, Queen of the Goddesses. Justice and diplomacy are ready to prevail. We’re learning that we can be both angry and compassionate at the same time. If we respect the wisdom of our rage, we can set better boundaries, assert ourselves, and steer our ships toward safety.

Meanwhile, Scorpio is plunging us into deeper waters, revealing our truth, fears, and shadows, while calling us into greater intimacy. Pluto, Scorpio’s ruler, has formed major conjunctions this year with Jupiter and Saturn. We’ve been unveiling our true nature, individually and collectively. As we’ve confronted all aspects of reality, good and bad, pleasurable and painful, we’ve been preparing our world for reinvention. This has required us to topple harmful structures, paradigms, and beliefs—a process that has felt both jarring and liberating.

Luckily, this New Moon trines spiritual, soothing Neptune, helping us grieve, and call on our love, healing, and forgiveness. The Moon is also sextiling Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto—the major players in this year’s paradigm shift. We have the chance for a gentle but deep fresh start, that calls on our faith in the Universe and our unfolding. We can quiet our minds and feel the profundity supporting us in this painful, but necessary transformation that we’ve been undergoing in our personal lives and the world at large.

Relationship healing is also possible as we recognize our shared humanity and make room for the depths of our feelings, triggers, and even insanity. We can allow all of it room to breathe, without judgment. We need each other now. It’s time to embrace our emotions and complications so we can do the same for others, entering into greater mutual trust.

As we now enter this final eclipse portal, we’re wrapping up the big work of 2020 so we can pave the way to the Aquarian Age. We’re stepping through a significant threshold into entirely new energies.

On this Scorpio New Moon, may we reflect on all of the inner work we’ve accomplished this year, feeling into our newfound stillness and strength. With clarified desires, may we bound forward, courageously and decisively, leaping toward an inspiring new paradigm that, together, we’re ready to build.
