Full Moons are a time of culmination and completion of cycles that call our attention to turn inward and reflect on what is no longer serving our growth and development. We are reminded during this time to slow down and allow things to reveal themselves so that healing and transformation can take place. This is a time of rest, reflection, and release to aid in the process of manifestation.

We have a gentle Full Moon in Cancer on January 6th ushering us to slow down and explore our intuitive side this winter season. Cancer is water, feminine, and cardinal, reminding us to take care of ourselves and others through healing and connection. Cardinal signs are initiators so this can be a  new start to an intuitive way of living.

This Full Moon is optimistic because it ushers in change and a slow push toward a new direction. Cancer energy can be very cautious and will patiently wait for the right opportunity to act; they prefer to feel their way through things. This is a beautiful time to develop internal courage and confidence in oneself to move forward.

What Do You Need?

The moon rules Cancer. This energy encourages us to take it easy and do things that make us feel safe. Capricorn being ruled by Saturn reminds us that disciplined action creates a sustainable foundation and future. When these two energies come together in opposition we learn to find a balance between how we feel vs how we show up for our duties and responsibilities.

We can build a solid structure when we take the time to listen to our intuition and emotional needs. Water is the element of mysticism and manifestation so use this time to plant seeds for inner growth and stability, allowing self-love and emotional cleansing.

This Full Moon will be opposing the Sun, Venus, and Pluto, asking us to take a deeper look at our sense of self-worth and value. By understanding our emotional needs and what we value, we can build more sustainable footing in our life.
